Many imported bed frames use non-standard sizes that require made-to-measure solutions. The key factor is that standard UK mattress sizes won't fit properly.

Measure the internal dimensions of your bed frame where the mattress sits. Use a metal tape measure for accuracy. Measure width, length, and note any unusual shapes like rounded corners. Allow for the mattress to sit flush with the frame edges. Double-check measurements before ordering as custom mattresses cannot be returned for incorrect sizing.

Most foam types are available including memory foam, reflex foam, natural latex, and hybrid constructions. Pocket sprung options may have limitations due to manufacturing constraints at larger sizes. All materials meet BS 7177 fire safety standards. Thickness typically ranges from 15cm to 25cm depending on the foam type chosen.

Lead times range from 7-14 working days depending on current production capacity and seasonal demand. Larger sizes may require additional manufacturing time. Free UK delivery is included, though oversized mattresses may need special delivery arrangements. Remote locations might have extended delivery times due to size restrictions.

Custom-made oversized mattresses cannot be returned unless faulty, as they're manufactured to specific measurements. This makes accurate measuring crucial before ordering.
